The Quinta da Plansel is located in northern Alentejo, in Montemor-o-Novo, about 100km east of Lisbon. The winery is managed by Dorina Lindemann-Böhm, who followed her father, the well-known wine researcher Jorge Böhm, to Portugal after completing her oenology studies.

Today, Dorina Lindemann-Böhm's team cultivates the Tinta Barroca, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grape varieties, originally from northern Portugal, with great success.
