Cez týždeň si nalejete pohár k večeri, bez veľkých okolkov.
Vinha da Foz rastie na terasách s bridlicovou pôdou v Doure. Do fľaše ide zmes štyroch bielych odrôd s alkoholom 12,5 %, čo je pri tomto regióne ľahká váha.
Fermentácia v nereze
Mušt fermentuje v nerezových lagares s kontrolovanou teplotou. Lagar je plytká otvorená kaď, tradične býva kamenná, tu je nerezová a chlad v nej udrží citrusovú vôňu aj minerálny ťah v chuti. Drevo víno nevidí.
Pite ho mlado
Kyselina je stredná, ale živá, takže víno si najviac sviežosti drží v prvých rokoch. Nie je to fľaša na odkladanie: otvorte ju, kým z nej ide citrónová kôra a kvet.

Quinta da Foz
In the heart of the Douro region, where the Pinhão and Douro rivers meet, the Quinta da Foz winery is located in the Cima-Corgo sub-region. The winery was founded in 1876 and is one of the oldest and most emblematic producers in the Douro region.
The Quinta's vineyards grow on steep terraces along the banks of the Douro River at an altitude of 120-250 m above sea level. Low rainfall, wide temperature ranges and slate soils with a granite content make for complex, fresh and elegant wines of remarkable quality.
Currently Quinta da Foz is dedicated to the production of table wines of excellence, having resumed the production of port wine in 2012.
