Na aperitív aj k syru: mierne vychladené pred jedlom, alebo po ňom k čokoládovému dezertu.
Cima-Corgo je podoblasť Doura a hrozno pre toto portské pochádza z jej viníc s nízkou úrodou. Väčšina z neho sa šliape nohami v lagares, plytkých otvorených kadiach.
Malé sudy a pomalý prístup vzduchu
Víno potom zreje v malých starých dubových sudoch v pivniciach Niepoortu vo Vila Nova de Gaia. Drevo je vyzreté a chuťovo neutrálne, jeho úlohou je už len pustiť k vínu vzduch: cez póry malého suda ide pomalá oxidácia rok za rokom.
Fľaša s fúzmi
Pri redizajne dostalo Senior Tawny najtradičnejší tvar fľaše a fúzy na etikete, ktoré majú zdôrazniť jeho seniorský vek. Niepoort to tak robí desaťročia: inovuje a búra tabu, ale tradíciu si necháva.

A velvety mouth feel with a fine blend of old wines giving richness balanced with younger wines giving freshness and complexity.
Podávanie
Typical pairings would be mostly desserts, mainly those focusing on flavors of nuts, eggs, caramel, almonds, cinnamon, ginger. Mild cheeses will also make a nice paring. Please serve the wine at a low temperature (8 – 10 ºC) to better pair with the chosen food and enjoy the elegance and freshness of the wine. We recommend a generously-sized glass, like for a white wine, and not the small glasses often associated with Port.
Niepoort
Niepoort is an independent family winery creating Port Wines since 1842. The first property in Douro, Quinta de Nápoles, was bought in 1987. In the last years Niepoort took on the great challenge of interpreting other soils and climates and acquired two properties in other regions - Dão and Bairrada.
