The Blandy's is a family winery specializing in production of Madeira wine, which is a fortified wine produced and bottled on Madeira island. Members of the family continue to live on the island, maintaining a 2 centuries long tradition of fine wine production that started back in 1811.
This iconic fortified wine is produced using specific grape varieties, aged by the unique heating system, making use of the same ancient ageing techniques that have passed down from one generation to another. Once opened these wines will stay fresh for up to six months. Decanting is not necessary.
