Single Cask je rum z Madeiry, ktorý deväť mesiacov dozrieval v sude po portskom víne. Práve to drevo mu dalo suchosť a triesloviny, ktoré v pohári stoja proti sladkej vôni.
Zo šiestich a z dvadsiatich piatich rokov
Základ tvorí šesťročný rum zrelý v sudoch z francúzskeho duba. K nemu sa pridáva dvadsaťpäťročný rum, jeden z posledných, ktoré vznikli v starej destilérii Hinton Mill, a ktorý predtým strávil ďalšie tri roky v sudoch tohto vinárstva. Spojená zmes potom dozrievala ešte deväť mesiacov v sude po portskom.
Ako ho piť
Tento rum sa neponáhľa. Kvapka vody mu otvorí ďalšiu vrstvu vôní, takže ju pridávajte postupne.

A rum with a vivid personality, sweet nose, with lots of spice, vanilla and touches of cinnamon, candied fruit, king cake, dried fruit, tobacco leaf. A complex rum that needs time to be enjoyed in its fullness, the addition of water helps us to enter into another dimension of aromas.
Taste
A full-bodied rum, dry with some stringency and presence of wood tannins that previously contained port wine. Fruit notes with wood, licorice, vanilla and cinnamon. Dry finish with a hot sensation that stays for a long time, ends slightly spicy.

William Hinton
Although the company name might not sound particularly Portuguese, it has been based on the Portuguese island of Madeira since 1845, when an English businessman William Hinton laid its foundation stone. The distillery can therefore look back on an impressive history of around 150 years.
Before it had to be temporarily closed in 1986, the distillery was already dedicated to producing the finest Hinton Rum, which became a success around the world. In 2006, the descendants of William Hinton decided to breathe new life into the business. The focus on locally grown sugar cane and production with great attention to detail make William Hinton Rum stand out from the crowd.
