Zmes dvoch vekov
Základom je šesťročný rum, ktorý zrel vo francúzskych dubových sudoch. K nemu sa pridáva dvadsaťpäťročný rum, jeden z posledných, aké vznikli v starej destilérii Hinton Mill, a ten predtým strávil ďalšie tri roky v sudoch tohto výrobcu. Spojený rum potom dozrieval posledných deväť mesiacov v jedinom sude, takže ďalšia séria už nebude rovnaká.

Aroma
Rich and complex, this rum exudes aromas of caramel, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, all wrapped in a touch of smoked wood, admirably well integrated. The 6 years of aging in French oak barrels allowed a perfect integration of the alcohol and the obtained notes of dried fruits and spices, to which the balsamic and resinous aromas quickly arise. This Rum combines complexity and elegance, challenging the senses.
Taste
Very well structured and round in the mouth, reveals notes of caramel, vanilla, black pepper and nuts. Balanced, fine and distinct, finishes dry, long and with a good freshness.

William Hinton
Although the company name might not sound particularly Portuguese, it has been based on the Portuguese island of Madeira since 1845, when an English businessman William Hinton laid its foundation stone. The distillery can therefore look back on an impressive history of around 150 years.
Before it had to be temporarily closed in 1986, the distillery was already dedicated to producing the finest Hinton Rum, which became a success around the world. In 2006, the descendants of William Hinton decided to breathe new life into the business. The focus on locally grown sugar cane and production with great attention to detail make William Hinton Rum stand out from the crowd.
