Čo urobilo drevo

Aroma
Despite its youth, this rum shows good intensity and aromatic richness. During the tasting, it easily reveals notes of vanilla and caramel, to which the aromas of dark chocolate and coffee quickly join. The aging in French oak barrels has also added toasty notes and some spices, such as cloves and nutmeg.
Taste
Well-structured and round in the mouth, it reveals notes of caramel, toffee, black pepper, and nuts. Balanced, refined, and distinctive, it finishes dry, moderately long, and somewhat smoky.

William Hinton
Although the company name might not sound particularly Portuguese, it has been based on the Portuguese island of Madeira since 1845, when an English businessman William Hinton laid its foundation stone. The distillery can therefore look back on an impressive history of around 150 years.
Before it had to be temporarily closed in 1986, the distillery was already dedicated to producing the finest Hinton Rum, which became a success around the world. In 2006, the descendants of William Hinton decided to breathe new life into the business. The focus on locally grown sugar cane and production with great attention to detail make William Hinton Rum stand out from the crowd.
