Rok 1994 patril v Doure k tým, ktoré sa v celom regióne vyhlásili za Vintage. Počasie vydržalo priaznivé počas celého vegetačného cyklu, oberalo sa v ideálnych podmienkach a mušt bol bohatý na cukor, farbu aj arómy.
Jeden zber, dlhé roky v sude
Colheita pochádza z jediného ročníka, takže na rozdiel od miešaných tawny nesie charakter konkrétneho roka. Musí v dreve zrieť najmenej sedem rokov a plní sa podľa potreby, takže v sude môže stráviť aj oveľa dlhšie; rok fľašovania nájdete na etikete. Zrenie tu pokračuje až do dňa, keď víno ide do fľaše, a práve tie roky za prístupu vzduchu dali arómam ich zloženie.

A Colheita with a delicate profile, revealing great complexity on the nose, with aromas of figs and dried apricots standing out, with a touch of honey.
Taste
In the mouth, it appears with a silky texture, but quickly evolves on the palate, showing itself to be intense, with the fruit reemerging full of magnitude, wrapped in a freshness present throughout the tasting.
Podávanie
It goes well with egg-based desserts and dried fruits. Perfect with fruit pies, especially apple and pear.
