Borges Tawny Decanter
Popis
Tawny portské z Doura, ktoré tri až štyri dni fermentuje na šupkách. Mušt sa pritom pravidelne prečerpáva, aby z nich nabral viac farby aj arómy. Potom sa šupky oddelia a kvasenie sa zastaví vínnym destilátom, čím vínu ostane zvyškový cukor.
Zrenie v menších sudoch
Víno potom odchádza do malých drevených sudov a toneles, teda väčších drevených nádob. V dreve k nemu pomaly prichádza vzduch, farba sa postupne mení do svetlejšieho odtieňa a chuť sa zaobľuje.
