Päť odrôd z Doura ide do jednej zmesi: mušt tri až štyri dni leží na šupkách a pravidelne sa prečerpáva, aby z nich nabral farbu aj arómy. Potom sa kvasenie zastaví vínnym destilátom, čím vínu ostane zvyškový cukor.
Sladkosť priamo z hrozna
Cukor sa do vína nepridáva, je to vlastný cukor hrozna, ktorý v ňom zostal po zastavení kvasenia. Odtiaľ pochádza vyvážená sladkosť, ktorá v pohári drží dlho po poslednom hltu.
Zrenie vo veľkých nádobách
Víno potom zreje vo veľkých nádobách. Do fľaše ide mladé a s dôrazom na ovocie, takže v ňom nehľadajte orieškové a karamelové tóny starých tawny, ale jahody a chladivú mätu.

In the mouth, it is very well structured, young and fresh; it confirms the presence of strawberry. A balanced sweetness that prolongs the wine.
