Biele s hĺbkou na bežný večer
K údenej goude alebo k dezertu, mierne vychladené. Hodí sa aj s ľadom a tonikom. Desať rokov oxidačného zrenia ako pri starom červenom portskom.
Desaťročné biele portské vzniká zo štyroch bielych odrôd z viníc v Sabrose, v Murçe v podoblasti Cima-Corgo a v Numãu v podoblasti Douro Superior. Hrozno sa vyberá už vo vinohrade a oberá sa ručne. Fermentácia beží pri kontrolovanej teplote a zastaví sa vínnym destilátom, čím vínu ostane zvyškový cukor.
Desiatka je cieľ, nie vek
Vinár skladá zmes z ročníkov rôzneho veku tak, aby chutila ako desaťročné portské. Do zmesi teda ide mladšie aj oveľa staršie víno a číslo na etikete hovorí o chuťovom profile, nie o tom, ako dlho víno ležalo.
Zrenie za prístupu vzduchu
V dubových sudoch potom víno pomaly oxiduje, rovnako ako staré červené portské. Drevo je vyzreté a chuťovo neutrálne, jeho úlohou je už len pomalý prístup vzduchu. Odtiaľ pochádza aj jantárová farba.

Poças
Poças is a family company producing Port and Douro DOC wines. It is proudly run by the family of the same name who founded the company more than a century ago. It's also one of the few fully Portuguese Port companies that has belonged to the same family since it was born in 1918.
While the head office is located in Vila Nova de Gaia (Porto), the grapes are coming from the Douro Demarcated Region where Poças’ 3 Estates are - Quinta das Quartas, Quinta de Santa Bárbara and Quinta de Vale de Cavalos. The Old Tawny Ports have built Poças’ reputation, but DOC Douro wines have been proving their own quality over the last 30 years.
