Taste

Good structure on the palate and concentration of quality tannins guaranteeing good longevity to the wine, good volume in the mouth exuberant with its fruit, a very balanced and long-lasting finish.

Podávanie

Blue cheeses (Stilton, Roquefort, or aged Serra cheese that offer a perfect contrast between the intensity of the cheese and the wine), desserts with dried fruits/nuts (pecan pie, almond pie, fig cake), dark chocolate (70–80% cocoa in plain or truffle versions), more aged charcuterie (pata negra ham or well-aged Serrano ham — fat and salinity balance well the structure of the wine), dark meat game (wild boar, venison) with a red fruit reduction — a bolder option.
