Ročník 2018 do pivnice na desať a viac rokov
Sýta červená farba. Dekantujte a podávajte k výraznému syru, k horkej čokoláde alebo k dezertu z červeného ovocia.
Staré vinice, po portugalsky vinhas velhas, sú základom tohto ročníkového portského z Doura. Hrozno rastie na bridlicových pôdach a oberá sa ručne v septembri.
Nerezový lagar
Lagar je plytká otvorená kaďa, v ktorej mušt krátko leží na šupkách a získava z nich farbu. Tradične býva kamenná, tu je nerezová a teplota sa počas fermentácie kontroluje. Kvasenie sa nakoniec zastaví vínnym destilátom, čím vínu ostane zvyškový cukor.
Nerez namiesto suda
Pred fľašovaním víno dozrievalo dva roky v nerezových tankoch. Víno tak nikdy nevidí sud a v pohári nehľadajte drevo, ale mladé a šťavnaté ovocie, ktoré si pri dvadsiatich percentách alkoholu drží sviežosť.

Did you know that the Douro Valley in Portugal is the first geographically defined wine-growing region in the world? It was the first to be legally defined in 1756. The spectacular, terraced vineyards are an extraordinary natural beauty and are now part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Bulas family owns two wineyards here: Quinta da Fozceira and Quinta da Costa de Baixo.
The excellent quality of the grapes and the long tradition dating back to 1256 form the basis for their production. Depending on type, the wines are stored in oak barrels for between two and twenty years before bottling. The result is elegant, well-structured port wines with rich and complex aromas characterized by fruit and spice.
