Zrenie v malom sude
Zmes zrela v sude so 600 litrami, ktorý obrúsil najvýraznejšie triesloviny a kyselinu nechal sviežu. Z malého suda pochádzajú aj tóny pražených orechov, ktoré nájdete vedľa zrelého ovocia. Časom môže na dne fľaše vzniknúť jemná usadenina, preto víno nalievajte opatrne.

On the palate, it is a full, intense and hot wine, which balances the fresh acidity with the sweetness and the wood and vanilla notes. Long and elegant finish.

While this winery might be one of the newest additions to the port wine lodges of Vila Nova de Gaia, the Vasques de Carvalho family history has strong roots intertwined with the history of the Douro.
In 1880, by decision of José Vasques de Carvalho given the exceptional quality of the harvest, almost all of the production was not sold that year. This wine has been aged and carefully stored in family warehouses up to the present day.
Vasques de Carvalho winery produces a variety of great port wines like LBV and Vintage Port, but the real treasure are the old Tawny Ports. In the category of Tawnies with an indication of age they are just outstanding.
