Prime Edition je organický gin z bylín, ktoré rastú na usadlostiach Queveda v Doure. Borievky sa zbierajú v decembri a dva dni sa nechávajú lúhovať v hroznovom destiláte prepálenom päťkrát.
Bylinky, ktoré sa alkoholu nedotknú
Borievka a ostatné bylinky ležia v košíkoch zavesených v destilačnom prístroji, mimo tekutiny. Cez ne stúpa alkoholová para, ktorá z nich vytiahne esenciálne oleje, a keď para skondenzuje, ostane ich vôňa v destiláte. Podľa toho, akú intenzitu chce výrobca dosiahnuť, sa destilácia zopakuje aj päťkrát.
