Najhorúcejší júl, aký kedy v Doure namerali, takmer bez dažďa zmenšil úrodu na Quinta do Bomfim. Tento Vintage tak vznikol z druhej najnižšej úrody za posledných dvadsať rokov. Otvorte ho, keď sa pri stole zíde celá rodina.
Šliapané v lagares
Hrozno sa v malých dávkach šliape nohami v moderných lagares, plytkých otvorených kadiach, v ktorých mušt potom aj fermentuje. Do fľaše ide víno nefiltrované, preto ho pred podávaním opatrne prelejte do karafy.
Sto kartónov vopred
Quinta do Bomfim leží v srdci podoblasti Cima-Corgo, kde v roku 2013 vznikli koncentrované vína s pevnou stavbou. Dow's sa preto rozhodol uviesť tento Vintage na trh vopred, ešte pred fľašovaním (en primeur), a ponúkol z neho len 100 kartónov.
