Desaťročné tawny z Doura, ktoré vzniká zo starých viníc v podoblastiach Cima-Corgo a Douro Superior. Desiatka nehovorí o veku, ale o chuti: do zmesi ide mladšie aj oveľa staršie víno a mieša sa dovtedy, kým výsledok nesadne do profilu desaťročného portského.
Šliapanie nohami v žulových lagares
Hrozno sa šliape nohami v lagares, plytkých otvorených žulových kadiach, a mušt fermentuje na prirodzených kvasinkách, teda na tých, ktoré prišli do pivnice priamo na hrozne. Potom víno prechádza do starých dubových sudov s objemom okolo 600 litrov. Staré drevo už vínu nedáva vlastnú chuť, len ho pomaly prevzdušňuje.
Otvoriť sa dá hneď
Pred fľašovaním sa víno filtruje, takže na dne nenájdete usadeninu a dekantovať ho netreba. V pivnici čakať nemusí, otvoriť ho môžete hneď po kúpe.
