The Casa de Santar winery is located in Portugal's Beira province in the historic town of Santar right in the heart of the Dão wine region. Casa de Santar has been family-owned for 13 generations. The character, balance and elegance of their wines as well as their aging potential set them apart from all others.

The wineyard consists of 90 hectares planted with red grapes and 13 hectares planted with white grapes. Their portfolio includes the Casa de Santar Tinto made from the traditional varieties Alfrocheiro, Aragonez and Touriga Nacional and the Casa de Santar Curtimenta Branco made from 100% Encruzado.
