Desaťročné tawny z Doura. Desiatka na etikete je chuťový cieľ, nie vek: pivnica mieša staršie a mladšie portské, kým zmes nesadne do profilu desaťročného.
Staré sudy
Hrozno pochádza z viníc v podoblasti Cima-Corgo a oberá sa v septembri a októbri. Leží v mušte v nerezových kadiach pri riadenej teplote 28 až 30 °C a víno potom dlhé roky odpočíva v starých sudoch. Staré drevo už vínu nedáva vlastnú chuť, len ho pomaly prevzdušňuje, a odtiaľ pochádza sušené ovocie v jeho vôni.

Quinta do Portal
Quinta do Portal is a family winemaking company that embraced the “Boutique Winery” concept with passion. Today, it's already the 5th generation of the Mansilha family producing wines in the Pinhão river valley since 1881.
According to British writer Henry Vizetelly, the estate is recognised as the first in the Douro Valley to have allowed women to harvest grapes.
The total area of vineyards is 104 hectares with large number of grape varieties, different altitudes, changing sun exposure and soils with different compositions. Thanks to this diversity, Quinta do Portal winery opens up a huge selection of fine wines and balanced ports.
