Quevedo LBV 2018 je ročníkové portské z Doura. Skratka LBV znamená neskoro fľašované: na rozdiel od klasického Vintage ide do fľaše až po niekoľkých rokoch zrenia.
Päť rokov v nereze a v starom dreve
Po fermentácii v nerezových kadiach s riadenou teplotou víno dva roky odpočívalo v nereze a ďalšie tri roky v sudoch s objemom okolo 550 litrov z francúzskeho duba a vo veľkých balseiros, drevených kadiach, do ktorých sa zmestia aj tisíce litrov. Drevo je vyzreté a chuťovo neutrálne, jeho úlohou je už len pomalý prístup vzduchu. Odtiaľ pochádza tá hebká textúra, ktorú cítiť v pohári.
Ročník 2018
Jar bola studená a veľmi daždivá, leto sa začalo chladom a skončilo horúčavou a suchom. Dažde z jari a začiatku leta dali hroznu dosť vody na to, aby pekne dozrelo, a zber potom prebehol bez dažďa, takže hrozno prišlo zdravé.
