Ročník 2020 vzniká z hrozna vypestovaného na vlastných pozemkoch Queveda, ktoré sa oberá ručne. Za vínom stojí vinárka Teresa Batista.
Šestnásť mesiacov v starom dreve
Po fermentácii prejde víno druhou premenou, pri ktorej sa ostrejšia kyselina mení na jemnejšiu, a potom zreje šestnásť mesiacov v použitých sudoch z francúzskeho duba s objemom okolo 500 litrov. Sudy už majú za sebou niekoľko vín, takže vínu nepridávajú vlastnú chuť, iba k nemu pomaly púšťajú vzduch. Preto v pohári stojí v popredí ovocie a nie drevo.

Quevedo is part of a new generation of small family wineries based in the Douro region. Although the company was only founded as recently as 1993, the Quevedo family carries a heritage of more than five generations in viticulture and the art of Port Wine production.
São João da Pesqueira, in the enchanting Douro region, is the home of the Quevedo winery. The cellar, located by the Senhora do Rosário vineyard, not only ensures the freshest grapes but it also offers a breathtaking landscape.
