Ročník 2017 fermentuje v nereze a potom zreje v jedinej drevenej kadi. Do fľaše ide po dvoch rokoch, ako to pri Vintage portskom vyžaduje zákon.
Dnes aj o desaťročia
Otvoriť ho môžete pokojne dnes, výrobca mu ale pripisuje mimoriadny potenciál zrenia, takže kto ho v pivnici nechá ležať, dostane o pár desaťročí iné víno. Nefiltrované portské časom vytvorí na dne fľaše usadeninu, preto ho pred podávaním opatrne prelejte do karafy.

The nose is opulent, with notes of dark fruits, spices and tobbaco leaves.
Taste
It has fine tannins with menthol notes. Great structure and balance.

Desserts: dark chocolate (70% or more), brownies, fondant, chocolate mousse, berry tart (blueberry, blackberry, raspberry). Cheeses: blue cheese (Stilton, Roquefort, Gorgonzola) or intensely cured cheeses (Serra da Estrela aged, cured Manchego, Parmigiano-Reggiano).
Martha's
Martha's Wines is a company owned by the Portuguese Marta family; a family with a long history devoted to Port wine production in the Douro region. Their oldest vineyard belongs to the family since 1727. Originally the grapes were sold to other wine producers – but since six generations the Marta’s produce their own exquisite Port wines.
The current generations started expanding the family business internationally, but the production process from growing the grapes to bottling is still done within the family.
