For the first time in the history of the brand, a change was presented to the original and secret formula of Licor Beirão. Produced with the same spices and aromatic plants of the original recipe, this new nectar is enriched with aged wine brandy. A perfect and doubly distilled combination of amber color and enveloping flavor with more alcoholic aromatic notes. Due to the success of this special edition in Portugal, it was decided to reinvent the Beirão d’Honra for the international market. The redesigned bottle was inspired in an ancient liqueur, which was sold at a pharmacy in Lousã, in the nineteenth century. An elixir with digestive properties that gave rise to Licor Beirão. Baptized CR - Carranca Redondo, the Redondo family intends to continue to honor its founder in the four corners of the world.
